Frequently Asked Questions

1)  Do I have to sign any kind of contract to store my stuff?

No, you do not have to sign a contract. This is just a month to month lease and can be cancelled at any time with a 30 day notice to vacate.

2)  Can I pay with my credit card on-line?

Not right now, but this is coming.  We do however offer Automatic Billing which can be setup by contacting a storage location near you.

3)  Can I pay with a credit card over the phone?

Yes, we can take payments over the phone.  If you are going to make payments on a monthly basis using a credit card 365 Self Storage would prefer you enroll in Automatic Billing.  If you would like to setup Automatic Billing please download and complete the following form.

4)  Am I required to get insurance to store stuff?

We would prefer you have some form of insurance to store your belongings, but don’t require insurance.  365 Self Storage does offer low cost insurance programs starting at $8.00 per month through Bader Insurance Companies.  Please check with you home owners insurance to see if you have coverage when your belongings are at a self storage facility.

5)  What if the unit I rent is too small?

That’s not a problem.  Just come back to the office and we will get you into a space that fits your needs.

6)  When is my rent due?

Rent is due on the anniversary date of your move-in.  For example, if you move in on the 12th then your rent will be due the following month on the 12th.

7)    What happens when we no longer need storage?

Stop by the office and fill out a “Notice to Vacate” form.  Please remember to clean out your space upon vacating.  Also, don’t forget to remove your lock and take it with you when you move out.

8)  What happens if I am late with my payment?

There is a 5 day grace period and then after that the unit will be red locked.   After 10 days there will be a $10 late fee assed.  This can be fixed easily by calling the office and paying over the phone with a credit card or pay in person with cash and get into your unit the same day.

9)  What are the fees to get started if I move in today?

There is a 1 time administration fee of $20 that will get you started. That is the only upfront fee that will be due – plus your 1st month rent plus tax.

10)  Do you sell locks and moving supplies?

Yes, we sell all sizes of boxes, storing supplies and disc locks.  These supplies are all available on property to purchase during normal business hours.

11)  What are the gate hours and office hours for my facility?

This varies by property but can be found by looking for your location and reviewing the description

12)  Do you automatically send out invoices when my payment is due?

No, we don’t automatically send out invoices each month.  We can send you an invoice if you would like for $1.00 each month. This will be added to your bill each month and we will send them out for you if you would like.  Just let us know up front and we will get your signed up for invoicing.

13)  Do you have a dumpster that I can throw my trash in?

No.  All customer trash must be disposed on your own.  The dumpsters we have on-site are for the upkeep of the property and any trash that is collected on and around the property.

14)  What if I move out and leave stuff in the unit?

If you have moved out and taken your lock with you anything that is left in the unit will be taken to the dump or disposed of as needed.

15)  Do you have copies of our keys or a master key to access my unit?

No.  We do not make copies of your key.  The keys and locks are your property and we do not have access to them in anyway – even if you purchased the lock from us.
